


An Important Irish George II Mahogany Silver Table
The frieze carved with acanthus leaves and eagle heads centred by a scallop shell, the cabriole legs with trailing acanthus carving, terminating in paw feet with carved hocks. The carving to the frieze has acquired a beautiful patination which is characteristic of desirable Irish furniture of this period. Irish, c.1745
